Individual Therapy

Sometimes we are left “stuck” by life events, struggling to find the resources to cope. Life can feel chaotic and overwhelming at times and we often forget the importance of self-care. 

There may be times when as supportive as family and friends might be, they just don’t “get it” so it’s time to see a professional. 

Our therapy sessions will encourage deeper understanding of your worries allowing us to find new resources to discover your coping mechanisms which will in turn enable improved emotional and physical well-being. 

Person-Centred Therapy works on the basis that we all have the capacity and need for personal growth and if offered unconditional positive regard, empathy and congruence in a confidential space this can help you process past negative experiences to find your own strengths and solutions to encourage change and resilience. 

Counselling sessions will normally be weekly and typically last from six sessions to one year or longer depending on the issues we will be working through.
