I feel extremely privileged to do what I do. I get to observe the personal growth of my clients and the positive impact that our therapeutic work has on their lives.
My personal journey to help others commenced over 25 years ago when I started my career supporting young people and families in a variety of settings. I feel honoured to have had such a diverse, rewarding career with young people and families and in being part of a profession that is a powerful force for personal growth and change.
I am completely dedicated to my career as a psychotherapist and after completing my initial training to deliver counselling back in 2005 I advanced my studies to achieve a specialism in Prolonged Grief Therapy, remaining the only trained practitioner in England to offer this therapy to support Prolonged Grief. I have also studied my MSc in Advanced Psychotherapy and Counselling and continue to participate in regular CPD in order to follow the ethical guidelines of the BACP (British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy) of which I am a registered member.
I know through personal experience how chaotic and stressful life can be as we navigate our way through our work and personal lives. I offer a modern, integrative approach to therapy which I tailor to your personal needs to make you feel relaxed in your chosen setting whether that be from home, my therapy room or outdoors as I appreciate the thought of sharing your problems can initially feel extremely overwhelming.
