I am a registered Counsellor and Psychotherapist with the British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP) and I am in the final stages of my MSc in Advanced Counselling and Psychotherapy.
Since qualifying with a Person-Centred Counselling Diploma in 2005 with an additional specialism in Counselling Children and Young People in 2006. I have gained valuable experience working in a variety of settings including Primary and Secondary schools, Colleges, Universities, Social Services, Fostering and Adoption, Special Projects teams, Palliative Care Hospice, Residential Social Care, Youth service and Private Practice, supporting children and young people, families and adults.
I am passionate about supporting people and the benefits of the Counselling process to enable people to achieve personal growth and whilst person-centred theory informs my practice, I use a client-focused, integrative approach which simply means that I use several different therapies to find the right tailored approach for you.
